There's nothing "emo" about it.
Spidey is understandably confused, shamed and pissed by Kraven's machinations, but his first concern was salving the fear MJ had been affected by them somehow, "I don't want to talk about it." isn't him moping, but stressing that he's not there to discuss anything just evaluate how far Kraven had gone, once that's done his main concern is finding Kraven to clear up the toll for going there at all.
MJ equally understandably was concerned her husband was dead after several days without a word, and is baffled he intends to make himself absent as suddenly and silently. He answers her rhetorical question to hammer home there's no debate, it was a forgone conclusion.

He doesn't just give himself a caress for the sake of it, it's a wordless conversation. He made clear he doesn't want to talk so MJ doesn't, she reaches to hold him back so her presence and concern are felt instead of just heard behind him. Peter moves her hand away instead of just slipping off to respond clearly that he recognizes the objection but will not be opposed BUT instead of just letting go and swinging off he makes sure she understands her worry cuts through the animalistic fury towards Kraven after being left to the worms, and matters enough to pause from pursuing that to show her by bringing her hand back nearer. She can't stop him from leaving, but she was and remains close in his thoughts.
