Mods are gonna assume this is racist, but unironically if you cared about the environment, the ocean, and greenhouse gasses you would advocate for the complete and total genocide of most of Asia, Africa, and honestly most people outside of Europe and America. And also most of the nonwhites there since they tend to litter more. Or at least killing them off by like 80%-90%

You can either stand on the "the environment is important" pedestal or the "racism is bad" pedestal, but not both at the same time since statistics show that they are completely incompatible. I personally would choose the environment because when people say "earth is overpopulated" they aren't talking about demographics that can build and maintain safe and stable societies on their own (white people, non polluters like japs/koreans/etc) they are talking about people who live in smog and trash like China, India, the Philippines, etc. and who value the short term and the self over the long term and society/the nation they inhabit.
I say the Philippines because I recently learned that for their size they pollute the ocean with fuck tons of plastic.

>I just don't understand that vector to disliking Trump
I'm pro Hitler and I hate Trump for a lot of reasons I don't want to get into since it will devolve into politics, but the biggest are that

1: He ignores the parts of the constitution that imply or explicitly state that the USA is and was primarily for whites to hand down to other whites. He is all too happy to continue practices that are harmful for this intended demographic of America like mass legal immigration that has happened since 1965, H1B, treating Jews as above all other classes in society, etc

2: He is a weak leader. He's not much different than a neocon, libs act like he is satan but he thrives on controversy. Instead of treating him like Hitler, if the left treated him like any other neocon they would be much better off since he hates being seen as milquetoast even if he is. But if they do that someone even worse for them and actually close to Hitler would come along and steal the counter culture, Trump is actually a limiter on how extreme people like boomers are willing to be.

He accidentally does based things occasionally but his heart is never in it or he is just doing them by accident with no plan to follow through, like when dems outright say call Mexicans tacobowls or something. It is never purposeful and at best he is going to be remembered as a transitionary leader who started to tap into the anger at corruption and incompetence rather than anyone who did anything major on his own.

The climate changes all the time, why would us make a dent in it?
You seriously think humans can actually hold the power to TERRAFORM an entire fucking planet in the span of... what, 200 years?
You genuinely think we could go to a frozen planet and by the power of us just burning some wood and coal, alongside a few billion generators with diesel, be capable of warming up its icy atmosphere thus counteracting the fact it is billions of kms away from the sun?
The only thing humans can do is pollute the environment, we can't change the seasons or the distance from the sun but what we can do is poison everything in it thus making it infertile and you do that by polluting first and foremost the water supplies, the same way India, China and Africa are doing.

It's not a matter of thinking or opinion. It's what the data demonstrates. The culminated contribution to greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere over the past two centuries has had a demonstrable and measurable effect on the climate and it's driving factors.

The more change and chaotic elements you introduce to society, the more directions society is pulled, the less you can focus on a specific priority of problems in society. Not just immigrants, introducing shock change in any form.
>They're reducing emissions and making major efforts to control the next market while Burgerland ignores it. What excuse is needed?
Burgerland is already less than them and they are still reducing. And unlike China (which still has it's own problems) Burgerland is in a much more chaotic state politically and socially.
>Except that's not happening and deforestation has increased. The faggot country not trying is America.
Again, can only do one thing at a time. More immigrants means need for more jobs, houses, resources, etc. It means you HAVE to grow the economy to make line go up, or at least make it look like the economy is growing on people (GDP vs costs of living).
>I'm fully on board with nuclear power.
Cool, too bad most green fags aren't and you see it politically. I like it too and it would solve a lot of problems. The crunchy anti-nuke hippies are a minority. Let's talk about why it actually isn't on the table. The investment needed to build a properly regulated nuclear plant effectively means it will not be profitable for decades. No private sector will take on thag investment, which necessitates the need for massive government subsidy if not outright nationalized nuclear plants. Which budget hawks oppose, private investment opposes, and lobbying groups for existing power suppliers oppose.
If nuclear power was profitable, the hippies wouldn't fuckin matter. But it isn't and modern plants can only be constructed through massive socialist investment.

It isn't hard. Same for things like traffic, litter, resource consumption, etc.
And yes, I think Trump is weak and retarded on many things. Deportations should be the starting point of sustainability and not being slaves to the market, not the end goal.

Not really, without western markets to sell to their own job market and economy collapses and they undergo their own crisis. That is the flaw of an oversized population and why the US should avoid it instead of letting in infinity browns. It is a growth that devours itself.
>What the fuck crack are you smoking?
More people means need for more jobs and land for those people. Which means more industry. More people drinking plastic bottles, more people littering. etc.
>Correct. And do yoh believe their investments and education efforts are built on supporting a lie
No, I think it is built on sustaining their oversized population. They want to be energy independent. Won't happen though, they have too many people and unless they cut out the need for western markets they will rely on us in any case.

>So much of the dislike of Trump by so many people seems to be entirely vibes-based and that just feels ridiculous to me.
That's just the vibes you get because you haven't been paying attention and likely only see how he's depicted in /co/ media. Off the top of my head, a big one is that he lied about Haitians stealing and eating dogs and cats in Springfield. He said he saw it on TV when told that isn't true. No TV report about that could be found. No reports of an uptick in missing pets could be found, but a police report of a lady accusing her Haitian neighbors of possibly stealing and eating her cat was found... but so was the cat, found in her basement. Of all the things you listed, you glanced over how he's a known liar, a new york real-estate conman. It's perfectly fine to hate conmen and liars.

This is where you get to thinking "well all politicians lie". There are degrees to it, and Trump does it the most. White nationalist Ann Coulter calls him the most corrupt president. Tucker Carlson said he's a bullshit artist and would make a killing as a used car salesman.

All these memes about "why not other countries" skips the part where our votes, our politics, are mostly local. Sure, they should help too, but Trump's reversal on the Paris Agreement and sabotaging of gathering and responding to climate change data shows this isn't a matter of what's real, but what's convenient. So let me get this straight: China doesn’t do anything with solar power domestically, they instead just decided couple of decades ago to create solar energy industry, did it from scratch, spent years perfecting it and making it profitable and then to grow enough to dominate the market, just because they were hoping that one day they might sell them cheaply to the US? And somehow they manage to artificially keep being the global leader on that front despite the US consistently dragging its feet on adopting solar energy technology? In other words China has spent trillions of dollars just on the off chance they could make cheap solar panels for the US, which keeps saying it doesn’t want them every other administration. Because that’s how they’ll make the big bucks?

You think insurance companies stay in business by only making money off of ghetto guys but deliberately keeping insurance policies for bigger customers with bigger claims forcing them to take more money from the little guy? They're screw over anyone if they figure they'll get more money screwing them over then paying the fine the only reason they won't go out the big guys as much as they can pay lawyer fee better. But that doesn't mean they're making the little guy pay more to cover for what they would considered bad investments from rich people. Also with less regulation they screw you over more and let Donald Trump do ratifying business practices and that's it to help the environment that will happen.

It's exactly what you would do if you want to isolate and murder them. Deny a video exists. Then release a video proven to ve doctored, and done so SO badly even the public release shows its missing time.

When you picture scientist, you're unironicslly picturing someone in a white lab coat that goes 'science' and seem to lack any grasp about specialized fields and expertise. This is why grifters manipulate you so easily.
Vaccines are safe. The COVID vaccine was rushed out of panic and historical precedent being pretty bleak. None of that had to do with the overwhelming evidence for climate change as they're completely different fields.

There is no evidence that will satisfy you because youre driven by ideology ahd not data. Anything presented we both already know you dismiss as "THE JEWS FAKED IT!".
There is no "never before scene melting glacier" that you're regurgitating. Though astrological in the milankovitch cycle we SHOULD be cooling. Instead we have diverged from the natural climate cycle due to the excess of greenhouse gasses we've culminatively admittedly that has overriden them.

The Daily Wire has never been profitable. It has an entire streaming service, and it loses money hand over fist because all the content is awful and unfunny. It's not 'shut down' for wrong think. It's just shit quality and only exists because of superPACs propping it up for propaganda.

What I don't get about conspiracy types is that there are plenty of monied interests like gas and auto that openly lobby and support politicians and fund their own research and push their own favorable narratives, but that doesn't become the conspiracy, they don't connect these dots and come to the conclusion that they have every reason to push against notions of man made climate change. I hate saying "you're just saying that to feel special" but that seems to be a factor. Going against what seems to be mainstream narratives makes you feel special, like people don't have good reasons to believe what they do when they disagree with you. I get that there is only one truth and someone can feel like this regardless of the side, but belief as a form of rebellion against an elite creates an aesthetic. Again, there's many factors, but the need to frame an establishment and elite that doesn't include the oil billionaire class, frame them instead as a snooty network of scientists who would actually be richer if they promoted finding is that were favorable to the oil industry.

There's more money in denying this than there is in supporting it. That alone should help people understand why denying climate change is the monied opinion. We've brain damaged ourselves on culture war, now it's all narratives about an elite and an establishment that doesn't include the billionaire elite that funds campaigns and controls government. Unless it's Soros. What's funny about him is that Fox News, establishment media, is obsessed with hating him. Hating him is the safe and approved narrative. Many who hate him here don't know what Fox News says, but the idea that a guy worth $8 billion has the capacity to threaten the "good guy" billionaires with over $100 billion should be laughable, but it somehow became the Fox News endorsed "anti-establishment" narrative.

Conspiracy folks fall into two camps.
-I'm a special snowflake that has secret knowledge the LAMEstream doesn't
-I can't cope with how chaotic the world is so it must be controlled even if it's nefarious
There ARE conspiracies. I believe in many that I hold to a high scrutiny and readily acknowledge what I believe and can't prove. But thats a far cry from the folks that EVERYTHING is a conspiracy. For some it's contrarianism and for some it trips the same mental pathways as religion. Red pilling intentionally itself is built from cult tactics of slowly dripping in replacement reality until they're completely dependent on that social circle for validation.

For climate change thats very true. Many treat politics like a sports team. Facts dont matter, whatever supports their perception of what team theyre on.
It also applies to gigs where theres not as much money in being contrarian.

I think there's a third camp that makes me thinks these are all motivating factors, all can be true at once: conspiracies help people cope with systemic problems in ways that is more convenient to them. It's like how those who don't believe in man made climate change don't want to change consumer habits, they don't want government restrictions, and they are often libertarian leaning so they don't want oil companies to be hurt by regulations. The most convenient line of thinking becomes wild theories about hatred of humans or at least just white people and a tyrannical power grab of people who want to lower the earth's population out of hatred and spite. When framed this way, notions of profit motive go out the window. Free market idealism is perfectly protected and you can weave this into similar narratives.

Adding to this: this is why talking to them often becomes harder. Even if you're a liberal or lefty, you understand profit motive just fine. Even racism, tribalism, conservativism, you can get it to some degree. You can relate. But when it comes to the narratives of the right and conservatives, their opposition takes on a sort of otherworldliness to them. They're evil, psychos, misanthropic, etc. The further right you go, the more you see it as an ethnic feature if not just something mystical flowing in and out of them. To them, even that once famous "bleeding heart liberal" term is no longer used because what's so evil about that? Now the right calls them narcissists, accusing them of only pretending to be bleeding hearts. It's actually scary that things took this turn.

Surprised this thread is still up but I am a Hitler appreciator and I think they are bleeding hearts, they are just moral hedonists. Always want the moral highground with no concept of people taking advantage of it or of unsustainability of doing such a thing and treating every life as equal and worthy of life.
