If you haven't watch Code Monkey's from G4 you're missing out, I recently been rewatching this show and it's awesome. I love all the characters, the environment, and especially that attention to detail they have for the pixel art. Stuff is always happening with the UI and in the background, and there's no Mixels!

I like how they really stick to the idea that they're in the 80s making games yet are still able to comment on and make fun of any era of gaming. I really liked the gag of future programmers coming on as who they where in the 80s, so mostly kids or them before they blew up, it was a cool gimmick, espc when you got to see real game devs on the show. (Imagine if they did that now LOL)

Anyone else have any thoughts on the show? I'd really like to discuss this show with anyone else who's seen it, and if anyone has a link for Season 2 without any watermarks cuz I remember peacock had shitty tv rips for a while but idk i've been dying to find a place to watch it easily without a buncha tv filters over it

Op is wrong. You're not missing out. That show was lame garbage then and it still is today. Don't waste your time watching it. The characters were miserable and boring. The MC's friend in particular was the worst of them. No doubt an unintentional effect of being the creator of the show's self insert (literally, since he voiced the character). It was one of the worst shows G4 put out, which says a lot because G4 put out a lot of shitty shows, and just further cements how bad we got it because we had to lose Tech-TV for this slop.

I highly recommend not seeing this show and letting it become lost media.

Something that will always piss me of is that the creator of the show just has the pilot and has posted a clip of it but ... like he just refuses to release it. maybe he's banking on putting it in some season 1 and 2 blueray (wishful thinking)

If this show hadn't gone to Peacock maybe it would've been a cult classic worthy of one. I think it sucks so bad that Season 2 isn't on DVD at all

G4 showed Cromartie High and G4 was peak "leave the channel on in the background while doing homework." So I can't agree with you there, G4 was cool.
