From all the references to shit kids have no idea even exist it has to be 40 year olds but then the dialogue is for 10 years old
So I guess they want everyone's attention and money

I know that joke's on me for trying to ask an unironic question on /co/ - comics & cartoons, but is there any real point in having a target audience these days? Seems like if people like your stuff then they just like it, thanks to the broad reach of the internet

"Target audiences" are pretty much a vestige of corporate focus-grouping, yes. Glitch did say they try to market to teens and young adults, but really, they know whoever wants to watch it will watch

Like all adult cartoons the target audience is anyone and everyone who will buy it which includes kids... anything else would be a demonstrable fucking lie.

Yeah, the creator knows they're a fucking lying and is covering their ass.
They sell actual kids costumes for this shit, it's meant to appeal to children as well.
Hazbin Hotel, Family Guy, South Park, every adult cartoon is sold to kids as well because kids love watching adult shows because they are le edgy and cool.
Companies do not give a fuck if a child is buying their highly age inappropriate merchandise.
