The characters probably have plenty of scenes together. They'd have to essentially shoot them twice with stand-ins and then digitally compose them together, which is quite costly. Having to do so for Multiverse of Madness due to Covid restrictions affecting everybody's schedules pushed that movie's budget up considerably.

The sensitive one is an actor who's not used to work with big teams. Reynolds can take a joke, Jackman and RDJ have worked with big casts and they know that not everyone is gonna behave. They also are quite professionals.
To be fair, Reynolds is likely just in a cameo, I doubt his scenes would cost millions to make. Also, he relies on stunt men with masks. It has to be someone who will need some CGI, and now they'd have to use more to add him to the scenes filmed without him.
My money is on Pascal being the sensitive one. I know he already filmed scenes with the x-men, but now he's off promoting F4, he might be back to the studio for more scenes. The comment might have to do with his anxiety. He's also a bit easy going so the fact he agreed to move on also sounds a lot like him.
The other actor is likely someone used to work with a big familiar team and make jokes and didn't realise Pascal might not be used to their almost 20 years old camaraderie.
Remember that when the Avengers were touring with Brie Larson, Hemsworth was not subtle about how fed up he was with her attitude ON CAMERA. I can totally picture him telling Pascal he's a sensitive diva and then apologising for being out of line because he's also easy going and nicer.
