but he was the one that reminds you, oh yeah, superheroes are cool. and usually have cool toys. not like this gross playskool-ass shit which unfortunately became the trend irl after Toy Story.
so because of that, he seems even worse.

I lost my Stretch Armstrong out on my aunt's 100 acre property. I found it months later and ants were eating it because apparently the stretchy stuff on the inside is sweet (or turned sweet in the Texas sun/heat.) yes I tasted it because I was curious why they were eating my boy.

He was one of the only toys Andy owned in the first movie (besides Buzz of course) that didn't give the vibe of a hand-me-down, Goodwill grab or just something he held on to from when he was younger.

Was andy a poorfag or something? Why did he have such a small collection and even then why was his collection mostly fisher price tier shit at age 9? You telling me it was 1995 and a 9 year old like andy didnt have a bunch of kenner or toybiz capeshit figures lying around?

I think it was a mix of trying to show a wide range of toys that could connect with audiences who grew up at different times, and implying that yes, he is family couldn't usually afford the newest stuff, which helps to make Buzz a bigger deal.

Speaking of which I also fucking hate how theyre now trying to say that andy wanted buzz because he saw that fucking awful movie which was a boring interstellar ripoff and not the 50s pulpy buck rodgers setting buzz lightyear was meant to be apart of. Because the kinoplex staff pitted the retard kid who brought all his toys to the theater like a massive autist. Same reason why my local movie theater hired a literal mongoloid who beats his head all the time in and wears a literal tard helmet like from that one spongebob episode as an employee. It still boggles me what a massive flop Lightyear was, an action-packed sci-fi spinoff of your most notable franchise would've been an easy quick buck, but it looked so goddam boring and visually unappealing to just about everyone on the planet. I wouldn't say the lesbian culture war crap was the only thing that killed it's hype, but goddamn at making this a kid friendly Interstellar. Also that robot cat was unironically the worst part of the movie.
