The dumbest yet at the same time funniest thing about Andrea is the person they were gonna pair her with literally never even arrived in her show. Pacifica herself was just Trixie Tang without a season 3/4 to ruin her (though the hacklet came damn close in the finale and essentially still punished her as if she was a bad kid regardless). Pacifica was never intended to be more than a foil to Mabel who had an explosion in popularity because Mutt Bratty has a fetish for brat girls and gave her a stand out episode.

Andrea was disappointing because she was heavily featured in the concept and promo materials and the second half of the pilot episode, but her character just gets redeemed waaaaay to quickly and in more of a "lets just retcon the bad shit she did rather than make her answer for it" kind of way. The arc with her store and finding herself was also total bullshit, it's just easier for people to blame the fat ugly landwhale self-insert she was pining for since it's such an easy target. That doesn't necessarily mean that these people support Molldrea, but anything is better than Alina or Ollie so I can see why they do it. It's not really the shipping that was a problem though, Andrea didn't really have a role to fill in the story after she speedran her redemption.

Really it depends for how up date you are with co stuff but I’d recommend common side effects, As of season 1 it’s a very well made, by the books conspiracy thriller that handles a topical issue like Americans health care system very tastefully, not to mention that unlike so many cartoons old n new, the show’s storyboarding is immaculate with many cool sequences

Also I’d recommend stugo, shit looks extremely off putting and ungodly generic, but beneath that mid exterior lies a legitimately fucking funny endearing show with an atmosphere that can only be described as “casually yet slightly unhinged”

Watched Common Side Effects and Scavengers Reign before it. The latter is well-animated but I feel like I'm missing a lot of context for never watching anything from the Alien franchise, so I can't really say I enjoy it.
With the former, it's okay, but my feelings are complicated. The artstyle means I can't tell if it's cheap or just so ugly it looks cheap, the humor's good but probably because I haven't watched KOTH in over a dozen years, while the plot feels so much like a retextured Pantheon (good show until it went full retard midway through season 2) that I can't trust a season 2 to go anywhere that isn't stupid. Also I have a bit of resentment for how it held Toonami hostage earlier this year as part of CN's ongoing effort to cheap out hard on the block's programming.

Haven't watched StuCo, maybe I'll check it out.
