>Literally the only character showing any sign of shame (except POSSIBLY Ralph who looks more like he was ashamed of being caught urinating behind the tree rather than being ashamed of his nudity)
>Leaves COULD have perfectly censored her in typical comic fashion, but instead, are just barely placed too high and too low, forcing her to cover herself

What did the artist mean by this?

If she was already censored by the leaves than covering herself would be lost in the clutter. By barely not covering Lisa and showing clearly she is covering herself shows a level of awareness of her dignity over the others.

I find it funny that she's the only character with this "dignity". Is she really THAT special? Come on.

Not throwing shit at you, but rather, the artist.

I've seen this image before and I know it's a gag from one of the simpsons comics, but i kinda want to rank it from creepiest to non creepiest. Fat Tony, Legs, and Louie seem to be the creepiest, but not for the reason you'd think.

I wish nudism/naturism was a more acceptable thing in America. I hate that Anglos in general can't separate non-sexual nudity from sexual nudity, or at the very least they seem completely unable to understand that in 99.999% of nude beaches you're not supposed to ogle at people or jack off. If you like what you see it's fine, but you save that mental image for when you're back home.
I wish I had seen more positive portrayals of nudity as a kid. I grew up being extremely ashamed of my body because everyone was embarrassed about being seen naked in cartoons. My parents tried to teach me that there was nothing to be ashamed of, but the influence of cartoons was too much, and while my sister would run around the house naked until she was like 6, I would lock myself in my room with my clothes on, and I hated being naked even in the shower. It took me until I was forced to shower in a communal shower as an adult to realize I wasn't going to pop a boner or people weren't going to judge my body or my dick. /blog

Homer and Bart are generally very comfortable in the nude, and Marge only seems to mind when Homer goes outside on the show, but I love that pretty much all of Springfield seems to be having healthy fun. I know people meme about the writers being shotacons for trying to find an excuse to draw Bart's ass all the time, but even if that's the case, the result is still mostly positive portrayals of nudity, with the exception of the Movie scene when he gets cuffed to a pole.

How? I spent like 10 minutes typing it. I'd love to talk about portrayals of nudity in cartoons that aren't either people being embarrassed, or about nudity being sexual.
You don't know shit about GPT talk. It uses a fuckton of long hyphens.

What the hell? Do a Google search, I typed it myself. Why is it so hard to believe?
I really mean it. My mom would bathe me with my younger sister but I'd refuse to take my underwear off, and I'd hide in my room because my sister hated wearing clothes. It's not some incest shit, moron. I just was embarrassed of being seen nude at a very young age. I remember all those episodes of shows where characters would get trapped outside naked and I was scared it could happen to me. And I didn't want my sister to see my wiener for some reason.

It's been brought up in similar threads, but do you think if nudity was more commonplace in cartoons (or just handled differently), would there be less people making a big deal of it? I feel like there would be, but there'd still be some who would be aroused no matter the context

You can't prevent that, and I think it's natural for someone to find it arousing. I myself find it arousing too, like, in the same way you find attractive people arousing. A hot naked girl will always be hot. But what matters is the intention and setting. For example, if you go to a nudist beach expecting to see hot girls, you're going for the wrong reasons. There may be a few ones, but there will also be people of all sizes and ages. That's when you realize that it's a different type of nudity. Again, you can still take a mental picture of what you like, nothing wrong with that. But you also can feel how normal and mundane nudity really is.

It really depends on the country. My first time at one was in Germany. Sadly, the idea of nudity = sex has become very ingrained, so that's why you end up seeing a lot of queers trying to hook up
