It lost over 80% of it's playerbase since it launched 9 months ago. I don't think that counts as "massively successful". The streamers were paid to play it, got bored/pissed off at the shitty metas, and went back to playing other games like OW2. Even the faggots who tried to say OW2 was dead and MR killed it and they were exclusively going to make rivals content came crawling back to OW2 when stadium released towards the end of april.

They've actually lessened up on their "no fanservice!" rules as of late. Hell, Juno even has a straight up modeled puffy vulva. She's also the new pit and thigh queen. They still have a long way to go, sure, but they're (slowly) getting there. Mostly because of rivals and chinkshit gatchas have really good skin sales when they're revealing.
