I never thought the Bubsy cartoon pilot was bad. It was like every other dime-a-dozen wacky animal cartoon from the 90s, but it wasn't really worse than something like...Eeek the Cat.

If anything it's better than the games, which is a different story. I never played any of the new ones, but every single 90s Bubsy game is absolutely fucking dreadful and it's baffling. The original Bubsy is what people who hate Sonic think Sonic is like: a mediocre platformer where you can never see what's coming because the annoying way-cool animal character is too fast.
