Is the OG Beavis and Butt-Head worth watching today? I'm on a bit of 90s MTV binge right now, and I've always been kind of interested in the show, but I'm not sure how good it really is and if all the music video reaction stuff aged well

It's a guy making candid reactions via his characters, it's incredibly funny whenever they silently agree to skip a stupid music video

It has two appeals
A. you like 80s-90s rock music and laugh at the idiotic commentary
B. you are an 80s-90s rock fan the characters were making fun of and relate despite the creator/writers hating you, or you just enjoy that kind of thing

it's not that good but if you like cheesey rocker/metalhead comedies of the time you'll prob like it. better than little nicky rofl, though a step below waynes world and detroit rock city

its in a weird spot, s1 was borderline experimental and barely feels like a proper show
it doesn't get its legs until s2, when episodes actually have something resembling a plot

it's maximally enjoyable for what it is in the original aired format with the music videos and cartoons interspersed with each other. You need bootlegs to watch much of it this way
