Cartoon Versions of Live-Action Shows/Movies
Is this just an excuse to talk about the animated Sabrina? Yes.

One of the episodes that stuck with me was the wisdom tooth one. Probably because I was scared of dentist visits too. Also Hilda Spellman a cute.

Buffy really was a blight on the world. Everything I hate about modern media can be traced back to Buffy and Whedon.

The never ending stream of ironic dialogue and quips, no one treating anything with any sort of urgency, the sudden "Well I guess this character is gay now" shit, plots being driven by what fans respond to rather than organic writing (Spike and Angel and all their general bullshit).

But the way dialogue is structured is the biggest. Whedonspeak is fucking everywhere now and Buffy is where that shit started. A lot of modern, younger, writers also grew up loving Buffy.

Angel is a better show honestly. Probably has the best ending I’ve seen for a tv show. It fits the theme of the entire show perfectly. I’m so glad they let it end there and never tried to touch Angel again after that.

90s movies and TV in general had ironic quips. You think Tarantino's not quippy and ironic? Or Kevin Smith? Or the Scream writer? Blaming Whedon as the sole boogeyman is just an easy strawman for retards like you.

Kevin Smith was making COMEDIES not action films. Tarantino's dialgoue isn't the same as whedonspeak. He wasn't cutting down tension every other line like you see in Buffy, Firefly, and Avengers.
