Was it the very first cartoon aimed at kids to be "political"? By political, I mean like the kind of war, imperialism, government, political leaders, soldiers, war sort of political

>war, imperialism, government, political leaders, soldiers
That's not what "political" means anymore.

I really do hate the late 2010’s rhetoric of “if x can be looked at through a political lens, therefore it’s political and “”””it’s politics””””” encompasses everything that it could ever be”

It’s just gay bs people use to make everything about their own self congratulatory circle jerking

Liberty's Kids kind of tackled all those concepts, but with less nuanced/complex storylines. Their episodes were a bit more superficial versus Airbender's more in-depth, human-experience oriented stories. Less "political intrigue" and more "edu-tainment"

>I know nothing about anything that happened before I was born therefore "the first" applies only to the 90s and afterwards

Yeah nowadays the ''political'' genre just means something that is shallow with very little to say
