No, that killed interest in the comic and nobody liked it, even people that wanted kid Gert back thought there were better ways to do it, like having adult Gert leave and kid Gert now takes her place, adult Gert sacrificing herself instead of dying in an anticlimactic way, adult Gert transforming to kid Gert because Fairyland said so or if you are seriously going to do it, at least give kid Gert something unique to do as a character. Just don't do it and give the fans something like pic (Spoilers for the original run's ending).

it should look like a dingier space adventure cobra but british animation isn't in a good place right now so lets just hope they get the colors right
it would also be cool if they did the brave and the bold thing and started every episode with a cold opener crossing over with another 2000AD character
