Why is Zooble so perfect bros... I need Zooble so fucking badly I can't take it anymore. Zooble Is my God. I would do do anything for them. I have not felt this way for a cartoon in a while, Is it wrong to feel like this?

I really enjoyed her characterization in episode 6, but I also honestly hate how contradictory it feels to her character in the rest of the show. Zooble in episode 6 feels like a completely different character compared to the earlier episodes. Part of that is probably because she was such a nothing character up to this point, but it's also because of the whole "I don't feel comfortable in any parts I try!" and how it goes against her speech about not hating the parts of yourself that you're stuck with. I dunno, I feel like this stuff could have been set up earlier and would have mattered a lot more. Also I'm not going to call her "Them". Non-binary is such an annoying attention-whore identity.

I'm actually worried about main character syndrome. That the idea pf abracting feels almost like a foreign concept. That the whole cast are basically oir main characters and the show isn't going to have the balls to abstract again.

A lot of development goes offscreen because the end is encroaching near and they have to rush it.

Which is ironic with how much of a drag the episodes can feel by how offpaced they are.

Character development, anon. Helping Gangle likely has the bonus of helping Zooble come to terms with herself. Notice that Zooble didn't come up with the answer at the drop of a hat, but is lowkey taking it as a sort of epiphany.

Fair enough yeah. Don't get me wrong I actually really enjoyed that scene and it made me appreciate the character more than I had up to that point, I guess I just wish there was a little more lead up to it. Zooble's character arc has kinda just been "I'm miserable and Caine won't leave me alone" before that.

I also like washed-out failures as partners.
It is very easy to make them believe that they finally have something good in their lives by showing them a little bit of genuine-looking care and attention, only to watch them become a broken-down mess once you crash whatever semblance of self-worth they manage to accumulate while with you.

I almost turned episode 6 off as soon as Gangle asked Zooble if she ever went through a body problem. If they started talking about tranny shit, I was done. Yes, I know the creator is a man in a dress and doesn't even begin to look like a woman in any way. I don't care. If I was Gooseworx I would have been fucking embarrassed to look like that in those Japanese cafe pictures.
