Why do they feel like they have to clarify they aren't going to retcon this so much or just turn back time on it. it's not like that matters. this isn't going to have any lasting impact beyond changing who the Sorcerer Supreme is. It's gonna be far weirder to have everyone just forget about and move on from the world being taken over than to have them just erase this event from time or whatever.
