Not sure how I feel about the new opening. Oh Lord is very power-ballady, so the dancing should have been slower and more dramatic to match the energy, but it looks like they should still be dancing to Do You Wanna Taste It.

To be fair I think Peacemaker slowly realizing he’s in another universe and stumbled in it by mistake could be a clever fun way to do the story too. Like a meta commentary of how quickly the DCEU shifted, and why some people from the past universe are in the new one and others aren’t. Like blue beetle and bloodsport. Some god-like DC villain has kidnapped multiple characters to “merge” universes slowly and that’s why some old people are here.
I don’t think it will matter in the grand scheme of things as old DCEU never did anything major with its world but there will be some confusions. For example I’m fairly sure they retconned the last scene from S1 where he still sees his dad and kept the last alien butterfly as none of that is mentioned this past episode.
