I was wondering, if The Simpsons is famous for political satire, how come it wasn't used in school classrooms like Magic School Bus and Bill Nye were? One could say The Simpsons is blatantly educational, same with South Park

satire is seen as comedy first rather than anything educational. i don't think it's the best way to grasp political concepts, either, at least for kids.
