Nah man listen, Im not here to defend the media's hot takes, those 95% likely to win numbers were always bullshit peddled by the talking heads of CNN or whatever, but actual polling in the Hillary election as well as this last election wasnt that far off. In terms of polling actual people Trump was never that far behind Hillary on average, and even a 47% percent likelihood of winning still is pretty high, if people paid attention to the numbers it wasnt that hard to believe Trump could take it, like I remember specifically the only poll that was fucking off was Fox's election day polling before the actual results came in on election day.
As for this recent election, it was actual fucking headlines that pollsters couldnt fucking break from the almost 50/50 odds of Trump and Kamala winning. Aside from that one dumb bitch who polled a bunch of fucking women and thought "Oh women are gonna come for Kamala in droves and seal the deal" all the major pollsters were calling it a close race, and it turned out to be the most accurate polling period in the Trump era. Trump only one by like 2-3% more then Kamala which gave him an edge with the popular vote, but in terms of polling thats within the margin of error. Even one of the news guys I regularly watch on Youtube who was predicting that the polls were overcompensating for Trump on Election day came out and said "Oh shit I was wrong they were right the entire time"

I didn't think Season 20 was as bad as people including Matt and Trey think it is. For a season where their fuckup on predicting the winner of the election forced them into a situation where they essentially had to improv an entire story, I thought they did surprisingly well. It was only on the initial week by week release of the episodes that it sucked, but watching it all in one go is a good time.
