What are your thoughts on Top Cat? Aka Don Gato y su pandilla

As a kid in Mexico in the 80's, I was bombarded with so many crappy Hanna-Barbera shows.

While I didn't follow most of them, I did watch Don Gato y su pandilla. The dub did a great job with the voices changes. I would probably not be able to watch the original English one.

I was here on 4chan before there was even a /co/. Not much fan of the newer social apps, I'm stuck on my old ways and like the anonymity of the place (plus not having to register and make a profile for those app.)

I love animation of all kinds and like to keep tabs on whats on. I did grow up in Mexico, but close enough to the border to absorb some of Americans culture. Had one of those giant dishes, that you pirated the signals from American network and watch all the shows. Those were glorious times.

Loved Top Cat when I was a kid in the early 80's, and I wasn't even Mexican. Sure, it's literally the Phil Silvers show, but all of Hanna Barbera was a rip-off.

It's from a time when people used to be more formal when speaking and that reflects on cartoon dubs. It is made by Mexico for Mexico so there is slang and references but you'll understand just fine by the context in the show itself
