Decent series for a throw away Netflix show. The spin offs and movies sucked, and the repeating forced drama of Jim having issues becoming the Troll Hunter later on was annoying. Angor Rot was an interesting side plot.

I'm rewatching Trollhunters at the moment and still enjoying it a lot. Dunno why /tv/ never talks about it. Sure, it ended like five years ago, but this board is still obsessed with other shows from that time, like Star and Steven Universe. Trollhunters sure is better than those.

I don't know if I would say HARD drop. 3Below was alright, even if a tad retarded at parts.
However, it ends on a cliffhanger leading into Wizards which was complete lore rape-age. So I guess it's not worth it in the grand scheme of things.
The best place to stop is the finale of Trollhunters. Solid, satisfying ending with no loose threads.
