They should give Rampage another try. Something involving Smash TV would be fun ,too.

>They should give Rampage another try.
i hope when they do it's not related to the movie with the rock.

Rampage, Cruis'n and Space Invaders, though i'm not sure about that last one since i think Square Enix owns the IP.

By the way, the EEnE and Billy & Mandy games they made were pretty sick

It wasn't a Midway property at first, but when Atari went bankrupt they acquired the rights to Primal Rage, so I guess it counts. Still mad that they killed the franchise after getting it because they didn't want any internal competition with Mortal Kombat at the time.

Rampage and Cruis'n are no-brainers, besides Mortal Kombat, they're the most iconic MIdway IPs: movie theater arcade soul incarnate. Gauntlet Legends was a cool game but I don't know how it would translate to a story. Apparently Midway did Freaky Flyers and Dr. Muto, both of which I think Warner Bros. Animation could've done two decades ago but not necessarily now.

doesn't it make sense to get the co-creator/designer involved?

why not just incorporate Primal Rage characters as DLC or a crossover with Mortal Kombat?

Game devs are retarded

OH this is the creator? I didn't know that, that's pretty cool.

I've had that same thought on how they could use MortalKimbat as a test bed/launchpad for some of their other franchises they haven't touched in a while. With all the guest fighter crossovers and multiversal aspects the franchise has used for the last four entries it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

The original Primal Rage even had some similar parallel universes lore going on, so it could actually line up. Maybe have a crossover event where one of the key factions enters the MK side of the multiversal to get some help and resources to stabilize the timelines of their side. Have a few bloody bouts, big reveals about primordial world-ending titans, throw in shitty Johnny Cage one-liners about the dino-gods looking like stop motion movie monsters, and that should do it.

I like the rock movie as a kaiju film, but i wonder why they didn't go animated with the film?

Because the PR cast is several stories tall.
