I hope they do not include the convoluted nonsense associated with Comet in the upcoming Supergirl movie. Why can't she just have a flying horse that is from Krypton? Parallel evolution is used to explain Krypto and Beppo. Streaky is just a cat from Earth exposed to kryptonite. Comet's story tries way too hard.

His origin is not inherently tied to Krypton itself. Therefore, Comet feels out of place from the rest of the super pets. At least Streaky got his powers from exposure to kryptonite. Comet's story is a fucking mess to shoddily explain why it isn't weird for Supergirl to date her fucking horse.

I mean even the present Supergirl comic, which is very influenced by the silver age, and even brings back Streaky the supercat, didn't bring back Comet.
