I liked the worldbuilding a lot but it didn't feel like anything had any permanent consequences and I got frustrated every time they introduced an important plot element like 3 minutes before it was relevant. The exception is the letter because that was set up several episodes in advance.

I sincerely don't know why Owl House fans have the largest stick up their ass of any of the Disney shows. I like the show but most fans will have you believe the show was canceled mid-way through its first season because Disney became anti-gay and the show never got a resolution. The show basically got two seasons and a movie to wrap things up. That's more than Gravity Falls had. Hell, Inside Job was promised a second season and didn't get it.

Luz ends up growing up to be an actual loser who abandons her old life with her mom to spend her worthless, no-skill, no-STEM-education liberal arts degree fooling around like a dumbass in a fantasy world. Meanwhile, Anne is a professor with a master's degree and an actual PAYING job. She still connects with Marcy and Sasha, but with the three of them being adults and having actual RESPONSIBILITIES, which is something that Luz will never learn, the calamity trio have their own lives to take care of first. Only Owl House faggots would unironically think their shitty canceled show has a good ending.

We don't need to look far to see which series has the better finale. Just look at the state of both shows now, as it is a reflection of which of the endings led to a good life. I certainly can't say Owl House got the good ending since the show got canceled. Meanwhile, Amphibia has a season 3, an art book, a journal, a graphic novel, future sequels, and spinoffs. This is because Amphibia teaches you to live in reality, while Owl House teaches you to be a crackhead and get high off meth to live in a fantasy world just to escape your shitty life.
