Double standards. People don't want to admit the things they like do the same things they hate or virtue signal about. This even happens in the anime community. Dragon Ball fans complain a lot about a random moe series having sexual scenes and creepy fans while forgetting everything involving Bulma or Goku's cock being out all the time in original Dragon Ball.
