There have been countless occasions where Loki has shapeshifted into a woman just like Ultron who constructed a new robotic body and Mystique it's not that much of a stretch for Marvel writers to claim that being a woman is his default version since he always was supposed to be a Frost GIANT without ever actually looking anything remotely similar to the other famous members of his underrated race. As for Namor he's the king of Atlantis which is an advanced yet distant civilization of Earth it's more similar to real China than to Wakanda and Mandarin's claim of being a descendant of Genghis Khan who violently conquered the Song dynasty reminds me of the half-human whose rule of sea people is always questioned by the other members of the nation's royal bloodline.
