I get that Yannit has no idea what is and isn't important to tell the humans, but all of this could've been prevented if she had shared the information on page 319 with Ran back when they were investigating her pheromone stuff, or even if Ran had bothered to ask her if her pheromone triggers were pure instinct or if they had some way to train them (which would've lead to the same info).

I'd say this is the safer option since the further she gets from kal the more likely she'll calm down. Scent and visual were the main trigger so removing those should in theory mellow her out. Main issue is there are no other indrel around to give the "stand down" pheromone/hive signal.

Ran is a nerd who is obsessing about the important thong he missed that made Yannit go berserk.
Kass is a combat veteran who learned the way you and your team survive os prioritizing immediate dangers and addressing them. She's making sure her people are okay and getting taken care of. Granted, Yannit is also one of her people, too. But she got flung out a window and is nowhere to be found, Kass is dealing with what's immediately in front of her.
Isher is focused on Yannit, but she's bleeding all over the place, and despite what she says, she needs to get stitched up.
Presumably once the immediate problems are addressed, they'll move on to dealing with Yannit.
