Aside from when the issue release has there been any confirmation of the chronology of events in ASM and All New Venom? Most people go with, MJ broke up with paul then runs back to "Peter". But is it possible these things hapenned in a different order?

But i was thinking, what if she bonds with Venom doesn't tell Paul, then the Hellgate fight happens, then she approaches "not" Peter and is rebuked. Then the events of All new venom happen.

this would make Venoms "What would Spider-Man do?" more complicated. In the moment he had an idealized instinct of who peter was.. peters rejection woud sting more, pushing MJ and Venom closer together.
