S4 still has a few good episodes, though I wager they're probably holdovers or were written before the movie.

I haven’t seen a single person complain about modern SpongeBob who wasn’t a whiny nostalgiafag blatantly wrong about everything

>DEYRE DISRESPECTING HILLENBURGS LEGACY
Hillenburg knew about Kamp Koral and approved it, and he never even said he was against the idea of spinoffs, just that he couldn’t picture them working.
>DA ANIMATORS ARE TRYING TO MAKE THE NEXT SPONGEBOB MEME
If you think this you don’t know shit about animation, the show is currently run by Spumco alumni Vincent Waller, the younger and veteran artists working on the show were heavily inspired by Spumcos expressive animation, it doesn’t surprise me that zoomers are too young to know what fucking Ren & Stimpy looks like. They’re also acting as if pre-movie SpongeBob didn’t have tons of wacky faces, ffs look at all the expressions seen in The SpongeBob Movie.
>PATWICKS AN ANNOYING PRICK AND SQUIDWARDS CONSTANTLY TORTURED
News flash, the Tibbitt Era ended 10 years ago yet your parroting talking points from old videos from autistic cartoon reviewers. I find it funny how Mr. Enter is like Dobson in the sense that despite not being well-liked, I’ve seen many people online unironically share his opinions.

Sure modern SpongeBob has its problems, Kamp Koral and the Tibbitt Era were ass, sometimes it can feel pretty style over substance, but honestly when comparing it other longrunners it probably had the least severe seasonal rot. Theres even a couple of moments in newer episodes that made me laugh:
>SpongeBob: "Squidward that girl likes your painting."
>Patrick: "Yeah what’s wrong with her."

Anon, that might blow your mind but as autistic as Enter is, if he observe that the water is wet, the water is still wet. When he was correct,he was correct (as far as the Tibbit era of Spongebob is concerned)

It's uninteresting. I'm not sure why people on the Internet sperg out about it so much.

Even as a kid I didn’t like that post-movie shit and changed the channel

Some of those episodes are a guilty pleasure, like Krusty Towers and Sing a Song of Patrick.

I Find the Newer Seasons lame. the first three season had satire or social commentary which the newer seasons are missing.

Don't fall for the bit. Everything after the movie is just slop made to fill run time. There are some diamonds in the ruff because of monkeys at a type writer. But even when they "brought the old staff back" it was pretty shit.

It's not god-awful, it's more like early spongebob was just amazing and after the movie it dropped down to mediocrity. With the exception of a few stinkers like house fancy, of course

Season 4 honestly wasn't bad. Different to what came before, but still decent.
I stopped watching around the time Hillenburg came back to the series but I remember pretty much everything else being hit-or-miss.

As somebody born in 2002 who watched a lot of post-movie spongebob as a kid, I admittedly do have some nostalgia for that era. Particularly toy store of doom, sand castles in the sand, karate island, and krusty towers like you said.

I remember watching this exact episode where Patrick works at an office when it premiered and I was irritated by how pointless it was. It felt like an outline of an episode with first draft jokes that didn't make any sense

This, at its worst NuSB is just a generic harmless kids cartoon

IMO season 11 was the best post-golden age season, though season 15 did have a couple of enjoyable episodes

You don't need to be a nostalgiafag to recognize that the characters ended up being extremely flanderized post-movie.

No, sure it wasn't as good but it's not bad either.
But after the second movie?
That's when things went to shit.

Post sequel SB had season 11, which was arguably the best post-movie season, which was likely due to Hillenburg returning to work on it before his passing, after that season there are a couple of enjoyable episodes here and there.

The Tibbitt Era was literal toddlerslop, stiff ass fuck and boring animation, reused jokes, extreme flanderization, it screams "out of touch writers who don’t care about the property"
