Tony tries to give disguised Emma an inhibitor ring so she's less likely to set off any alarms so she knees Tony in the nuts for suggesting it and one of the Hellfire members thinks he's proposing to her as he's giving her a ring.
They go with it and get married so Emma can infiltrate the Hellfire club under her disguise.

Emma falling in love with peter on marvel adventures was actually really cute.
I remember she treated people like crap, for how petty people's minds were, and she never cared for actively reading people's minds without permission.
But peter mind was so beautiful to her for how pure Peter was, she instantly fell in love with him, at the point she tried to erase chat and peter relationship memories (she's probaly the best relationship peter ever had, even above mary jane, black cat and carlie cooper), so she could have a chance with him.

Man marvel adventures was what I actually wanted in a spider-man book, peter wining against the villian of the week, while his close friends actually appreciate him for it.
He wasn't a peter with endless suffering.
I doubt this relationship could work in 616, because that Emma is actually a super bad petty person that only cares about status, and 616 peter is the brokest man alive, at least deep insider her, her heart still beats with good intentions (sometimes)

He didn't saw peter as perfect, in fact he was extremely flawed, she saw how his memories showed up how much of a good and nice person he is, and the reason he became a superhero, showing the responsibility he takes as spider-man, as someone said here, Emma hated people because she learned almost all people actions hide an agenda, another intention or a meaning to an end, while Peter acts are just selfless acts with no bad intentions, that's it.
