It's pretty obvious that something fucky is going on whenever someone gets resurrected and it's not exactly consequence free. For some people it messes hard with their perception of reality and even Marshall was starting to question it a bit near the end there when he started seeing the little gremlins in real life.

She was wrong to lie for as long as she did, but I sympathize with her actually trying to use the system of resources she had to try to put the mushroom out there into the world, instead of relying purely on a handful of gun-crazed rednecks and some mushroom murder cultists.

Honestly, I thought it was weirder that she abruptly left Rick again after he went rogue and actually seemed to want to change things for the better (until his corporate stupidity got hold of things again).

I found Rick the most interesting character of the show. He seems like he actually wants to help people, or at least provide them something that they would enjoy, but that is burried in some layers of "I really REALLY WANT TO MAKE SOME MONEY!"

I think part of what makes Rick such a great character is that he's initially framed as some idiotic villain that we should hate and then learn that he is more nuanced and somewhat sympathetic

Rick isn't the smartest guy on the show but he is the wisest.
Jonas is a retard for thinking he can suppress a mushroom that already made it from Peru to New York.
What makes Rick a good CEO is that he can read the writing on the wall.
The blue angel is inevitable, and he can either be one of the guys supplying it (Rick) or one of the guys buying it (Jonas).

It's also due to the fact that character in his position are always portrayed the same way, as one dimensional antagonists. Sure some are more humorous or wicked but they are never given proper depth. Rick was very refreshing for a thriller series.

I also like how he is very business minded, all his reasoning for they way he handled the blue mushroom is pretty fair and as for why he pivoted towards a spice product towards the end makes sense when he lost his partner and couldn't reliably make the synthetic.
