You don't build up anything about the other two k-pop chicks, but the demon dude gets a bunch of development. Then you kill him and we're left with the other two, but it's like we don't even really know these bitches. They either needed to flesh those two out more, or came up with a different ending.

What puts me off about this movie is not how it's a microcosm of every problem in modern film. That it's corporate trend-chasing ethnic girl bossery where men solely exist to be vilified, objectified and sacrificed is something I am resigned to. No, it irks me how this succeeded despite the current cultural tidal wave turning against such things. The spider-verse zeitgeist will persevere for a long time I fear.
