Once the true Kara Zor-El Suoergirl was brought back, there’s no place for Eradicator in the franchise because Kara remembers her entire life in Krypton pre-explosion.

So now he’s just brought back every few years to back up Zod when he wants to turn Earth into a new Krypton.

Writers need to go back to his roots of being a device created by fascist scientists to eradicate peaceful dissenters worshipping God. The Cleric is an interesting character we never got any more out of.
