How's season 2 going so far?

I've only seen a few eps for S2, I think up to the ep where Purp and Green combine powers. I thought it was decent but I had this weird feeling that the show was slowly starting to become more and more like a toy ad, especially with that new clam house. Still, the characters and animation are all good, but I really need to watch some more when I can

I've seen this critique mentioned before for other shows. Though I always wonder how that really plays out considering a lot of these shows just don't get the kind of toys we used to see in the 80s and even early 2000s. Barely any really. I don't really imagine there being more than that little chibi playhouse thing I think was posted a while back in a thread. Like I know more than a few would buy their favorite girl if she got a toy but they just don't have toys for this stuff anymore. Those figure prototypes from a while back stood out because of how rare this stuff in genreal feels like now.

we're coming close to the third season announcement and the show hasn't come out globally in its entirety yet.
Plus Indonesians are crazy about the show, and that's surprising seeing that it isn't its origin country.

Makes me kind of sad honestly seeing kids just using iPads instead of playing with actual toys, so most cartoons cant really rely on that anymore. I worked at a daycare a few years ago, thankfully kids still like to play with bubbles and balloons and stuff, but it rare to see a show that isn’t already super popular have toys modern kids play with
