big mistake cutting them out. It left the movie with barely any action.

I think this was the moment when it became clear that the MCU no longer can get any actor they want.

Their recent troubles mean they can’t pay astronomical salaries and actors know that MCU exposure won’t necessarily help their careers and that they might get stuck working on endless reshoots.

Even three years ago they could have gotten the actors they really wanted for FF (whether that would have made a better cast or more popular film, no idea).

Would have been a much better Sue than Kirby.

Still don’t think she would have been perfect. Of the ones listed Robbie is the best fit but can she’s not perfect. Just actually the right type of beautiful for the role as opposed to the others.

Stone would have been the only pick worse than Kirby.

But Kirby and Pascal are the reason I’ll never watch this shit.

That has always been the case. 90% of the MCU leads are not played by the first actors Marvel approached for these roles. I think the only exceptions are Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel.

Marvel has too many people putting their opinions and two cents in when it comes to how the casting should be.
You should just have one dude who wants to make it comic faithful (pre-2000) era comics. And all these shitty marvel movies would improve overnight.
