> They showed jinu redeeming himself by
KILLING ALL THE DEMONS
No, he didn’t kill the demons. All he did was stop the big bad guy from killing rumi, and he kind of just disappeared, which was honestly a pretty lame conclusion to his character. Rumi and the girls were the ones who sealed the demons away, despite them being aware that theres a possibility others like jinu exist. Again, the rules about demons are really vague and hurt the story.
> Jinu even kills himself because he knows he is too corrupted to walk among humanity
Then thats not really a redemption then, is it? That basically means nothing he can do can redeem him, despite him being capable of doing good. Why introduce a complex idea about demons being redeemed and trying to be good if you’re just going to go back to “eh they’re all evil so who cares” it’s an extremely lazy way to tackle that issue.
> She didn't embrace being a demon. She just stopped hiding a physical defect.
The physical defect that literally marks her as a demon? That tells everyone shes part demon and (according to the movie) part completely evil? Why would you want to show and be proud of that at all considering what we know about demons?
> them. Her crime was letting the honmoon collapse. Her redemption was making a new one.
Anon, thats not an arc, thats her literal external goal, while the internal arc is her accepting herself for being part demon (which is retarded)
