The Grox can only live on terascore 0 planets, meaning the most efficient way to kill them is not to destroy their planet, but to teraform it. The Qu are better at teraforming and eco-engineering than they are at destroying planets. This means that The Grox would likely end up having all the planets they can live on teraformed into hospitable planets, rather than being defeated through military combat.
This is why I think Creature vs Steve is a better, more equal spore matchup, that and it having more to go off of in regards to the capabilities of the participants.
