what would you do with The Shadow going forward? how would you attempt to make him popular again?

For one thing remove his Big Jewish Nose as it looks off putting and stereotypical. People won't take a man with a huge schnoz as an action hero seriously. Another thing is do a better job of The Shadow hiding his face because how criminals can't see his face is nonsensical.

Another thing that needs improvement is the convoluted origin about how The Shadow convinces a rich man to allow The Shadow to pretend he is said rich man. That really sounds convoluted.

That aside improve The Shadow's arsenal of weapons because simply guns is not enough. And he needs better villains. Even Ninja Turtles has better villains than The Shadow. I would take inspiration from Ninja Turtles, Gargoyles, Metal Gear, and Disney Baddies to construct better varied villains for The Shadow because he fighting mobsters gets old even before you watch a trailer.

Also to Hell with the greedy estate for The Shadow. They already said they would do what Tarzan's estate currently does, trademark traps for when The Shadow starts entering the public domain in two years.

Fun fact about The Shadow he helped inspire the Legend of Zelda villain Vaati.

While The Shadow is motivated to be a hero because he's intrigued by the wickedness within the hearts of men, Vaati is the opposite in that it motivates him to embrace corruption.

You can't. He's a man who actively KILLS criminals. He's essentially the precursor to The Punisher and look at how Modern Culture has treated The Punisher. Today's trashy women and s o y boys hate determined fierce men like Punisher and The Shadow.

In today's era any The Shadow media would be him being humiliated by standard Steven Universe style writing and feminism junk.

Geez this thread is dead. You know what The Shadow really needed? A cartoon. Real shame it never got one. Even a cheesy cartoon like the 90s Zorro cartoon series would have done wonders for The Shadow. Shame that his theatrical movie failed.
