Are the scooby-doo movies that aren't part of the Zombie Island, Cyber Chase and Aliens even worth a rewatch? Like Reluctant werewolf played on Teletoon every year, multiple times, when I was a kid... but I'm not sure if it would even be entertaining now. Same for Ghoul school I guess. /co/ seems t ohave fond memories of them, but I only watched it once as a kid and mostly forgot everything about the movie. I also only ever owned the Scooby-doo in Hollywood cassette as well as the one with the Harlem Globetrotters.

FWIW, there is a single other official Ghoul School thing - OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes had a crossover with the Ghoul School girls. I think it might be the only piece of Scooby-Doo media to not feature any of the main gang at all.

From the rest it seems that they went straight with the known ip iconic monsters films (gojira and monster of black lagoon) and and possibly due to copyright and being just a closing gag, they didn't give more "complication" to the details of the daughters' designs.

The alien in particular has a design that would be a pain for animators to deal with. I know that's supposed to be eyestalks in a helmet but I think turning the whole thing into her head would be a pretty common art mistake in any actual show back then.

Maybe it's just me, especially having grown up in a small town, but Oakhaven as a setting is one of the comfiest settings of all time and to me, the perfect Halloween movie town. I honestly wish the movie was longer or that there was a whole mini-series set there. Also, the fake-out first appearance of the Witch's Ghost was one of the hypest things I saw in a movie as a kid.

Also, as someone that tells stories and has been working on trying to make indie comcis and films, I've always found all four of the Scooby-Doo movies, but Witche's Ghost in particular to have one of the best openings I've ever seen. It might not be apparent unless you're someone who likes to geek out about storycrafting, but just the way they set everything up and build the mood in what I think is like literally the first 50 seconds of the movie is masterful. I wish I could make something like that.

They did that 13 ghosts closure movie awhile ago. I would love to see the same done for ghoul school. The kids are slightly older, maybe going to a girls prep high school. Shaggy and Scoob get called as a substitute, shenanigans ensue. Would be fun to see a where are they now of the girls and how they changed or stayed the same. Tannis QB Frankie, Tannis trying to make her way, Phany gets into other more rocking instruments, ect.
