This is a little sketch I did. Trying to do some random character work I can have good material for my portfolio.

I'm not super confident drawing curvy characters and I thought the one on the right could be a bit better, so if y'all have any suggestions for improvements I'd appreciate it.

I'd say the lower left and lower center ones are pretty close.
The upper ones feel off since the moons are behind a cloud, yet darker than the cloud in front of them.

It's not going to be organized fully and I did something similar back in 2022. It was my folder I put /coc/ stuff into before putting it into dropbox, but it's gotten full because I can't move it into my organized folders. It sucks, it's over 800mb now.
I may just move it all into the dropbox folders once I'm all set up again and then not bother re-syncing because I want my shit to be organized again.

A booru would be useful because it would have search functionality. You'd be able to find references for any character quickly, or see any images any given character appears in. If done right we'd even have the year any given pic was drawn because I mostly kept the original epoch file names. And if I wanted to be extra thorough, I would be able to find a lot of the original postings for images in the archives and include those links with the images. It would also be useful for archival purposes because the more I think about it the more I come to realize I may be sitting on the biggest collection of /coc/ images anyone has with stuff no one else bothered to save. I don't have everything, but it's a lot. Same with board-tans.
The problem is it takes time and effort and I can't justify it since it's been proven now that my time has no value to society.

Since you kept the file name for that image from my dropbox, I can tell you it was renamed so it would be next to a similar image with most of the same drawings.
It may have even been a crop from a larger bug doodle collage (they did something similar to drawpiles many years ago before the current open ones). I'd have to look it up to know for sure.

I just went with Mint 22.2 since it's simple enough. It's designed to be similar in look to a windows interface and I've messed around with it before back when Mint 9 and 13 were new. The timing worked out for me since I was going to do this today and today is when the 22.2 update became available on the website directly, which saved me some trouble of having to update a lot.

But with Linux it really depends on what your hardware is. Make sure your stuff is compatible first, like your wireless card/USB or else you'll be running back and forth a lot trying to get an ethernet cable hooked up to get the working drivers.
Once you have your web browser back up and adjusted you're not likely going to notice much difference when you're online.

Since I can't update dropbox anymore anyway I may as well get all my files organized once they're unpacked.
I don't know how /coc/ will be mass archived in the future after that, but at least what I have is all out there now. Less chance of a major loss like the 2010 gap.

I didn't have much from the Supermoms now that I think about it. I never really followed that project and mentally I find myself placing Thong Squad in the same category. At least they have most of their stuff up on the regular /co/ booru.
