I'd say the same if they'd introduced a NEW dramatic subplot each season instead of milking The Wall and latching onto the inferior Silvercops one that honestly didn't need more than one self-contained episode

I'm going to miss it when it's gone - frankly I don't remember a lick of it and halfway through the seasons it would stop being funny but it was solid, comfy B- episodes with characters I cared about that I'd enjoy whenever I found out a new season dropped
The family comedy genre has been gutted so bad even this is something I felt compelled to cherish

It just never clicked with me, even before they lost Roiland. The girl's voice was always annoying.

this show sucked so much cock. It did whatever possible to avoid the Solar Opposites and focus on the shitty, boring wall story. That wall shit was cliche and bad. I wanted to watch an ironic sitcom about aliens living on earth and slowly starting to like it. This show refused to have fun. If you skip all the wall shit you barely get a full episode of alien hijinks. Fuck this nigger show and fuck you if you enjoyed the wall shit.

1) Season three more or less ended the series.
2) Without Justin Roiland, the show just got worse.
3) Double downing on "they're a gay couple lol" was a bad idea.

the last few seasons have already shown seasonal rot
the wall stuff is going nowhere
they haven't really expanded on the puba thing and the family isn't compelling enough for me to want to see them stuck in a status quo
even the silver cop guy really did nothing last season

it feels like they think they're gonna get another 6 seasons but i think they're getting cancelled

The Wall bits were okay. At least interesting anyways. The rest just felt like the stuff you zoned out on to get to the couple of interesting bits.

The Wall shit wore out its welcome after the first season. It's like if the Golden Turd in American Dad got a B plot dedicated to it in every other episode. I've been skipping every Wall/Silver Cops scene since like season 3.

R&M characters progressively got worse. SO characters were absooutely unlikable and forgettable from the start. There wasn't much to latch onto when you don't feel a shred of sympathy towards these psychopaths

Solar Opposites is more excusable because it was DESIGNED from Day 1 to star a cast of characters you're not ever meant to take seriously. I like seeing the Shlorpions fuck around with wacky sci-fi mishaps.

Rick and Morty was always trying to paint its characters as having layers and all that junk, but they've either developed them to the detriment of the comedy or they outright failed them and keep cycling through the same "character arcs." I don't know how many more season finales I have left in me until I just accept Rick will never see Morty as an equal.

The Wall side story was my favorite part of season 1, but it really lost its charm by season 2.

I assume they're still paying royalties to Roiland, so it's probably better to just wrap up production and produce a new show with a less controversial name attached to it.

That's why I find it so stupid that Harmon continues milking Rick and Morty. Just END that shit and move on already. Feels like there's a shitty new adult cartoon with his name attached as Exec Producer popping up every couple of months now, so I KNOW he'll still have options once his hit Adult Swim series *hopefully* comes to a close someday. I can't believe I thought he'd have enough sense to wrap this thing up in a couple seasons after Roiland's firing, but it seems like Harmon is still committed to going Simpsons with this show.

It's Rick and Morty but doubling down on the Sci-fi and much less niahlism, I can't tell you how many episodes of RaM come on and I just flip away (mostly beth or summer episodes)

Solar Opposites is the American Dad/Futurama of Rick and Morty and it's similarly better than the original show in every way
