Amphibia is the better written show, has a much more interesting world and premise, has a much better and superior memorable cast, has better world-building, and has better stakes and story than The Owl House, and most of all, it was created by a talented showrunner, Matt Braly and by a hack who got her show canceled unceremoniously.

I can tell if a cartoon is shit in 4 minutes.
It takes around 40 to tell if a book is shit.
So if you're looking for something great, it's much more efficient to skin through cartoons than it is to skim through books.
