Isnt the current precedent in the law currently that whatever an AI makes can NOT gain any copyright because it was not created by a human, but an AI?
That precedent has not been challenged by any of the big players in media, so in theory if some guy published a full 100+ page comic using AI for its art, then that """""""""artist""""""""" can not stop some other guy from using the same art in their works, cause neither of them created the work, a AI did.
Thats plenty of reason not to use AI, current precedent makes it a fucking mess to use for AI
>bu-buh what about making concept art
With current precedent you are more likely to copyright work that blatantly plagiarizes another artist as long as you make it yourself then having AI make something more unique cause ITS A FUCKING STONE LUIGI YOU DIDNT MAKE IT
But AI tech bros like ignoring current laws so they dont tell prospective creators that info and just let them be AI monkeys that feed the machine
