Korra was good after the first half of S1 but merging the spirit realm and severing the connection with past avatars was lame as fuck.

Actually that whole bit with Avatar Wan and the story about the first avatar was kind of fucking stupid. The series still had its high points though, especially with its villains.

yes, but BECAUSE he learns sexism is bad he sees Pakku as a giant dick instead of a cool guy to admire, and BECAUSE he learns sexism is bad Suki is confused about why he treats her like a delicate weak person after they meet up again.
Sokka didn't struggle very long with sexism but it still informs his character and changes how he acts for the rest of the series.

I'll keep it simple for you; resolving a deeply learned behavior character flaw in one episode, isn't the sign that it was handled well or was important. even within the context of the show, everyone else in team avatar had flaws they had to work on for multiple seasons. Sokka himself had more important plot beats besides this.

You're making it out to be bigger than it was. Sokka didn't have much to do with Pakku. You don't need that sexism storyline to explain why Suki was confused. It just wasn't a big deal to his character, which is why it was cut.

It was still a shoddily made game held together by gum and duct tape, they literally had little more than a year to make the thing and it shows. People like the *idea* of DA2, the reality of it is less than desirable.

Like most live action remakes of cartoons it's just the cartoon but lamer because they can't do the cool shit that was in the cartoons without paying out the ass and they're not going to do that. Just about every change they make is for the worse.
