I rewatched it weeks ago, man it's so bad. Even now I can't name a single character in it, or recite one memorable line out of it. It's just so fucking garbage

Rodents are the ultimate underdogs of nature. In a sense despite being disgusting vermine that spread disease we share a lot with them.

Also they are cute under the correct lighting

I actually wondered that myself many years ago. Though it's not like entirely stopped in the 80s. There was still stuff like Redwall, though Americans don't know what that is.

Mice are easy to draw and caricature, same with cats and dogs.

Mickey was the starter, but mice have that cute factor going for them. Mix in the "small society" trope and you got something going. For many, it's cool to see how rodents would turn everyday objects into items to help run a population, and then how it interacts with our world (regular humans).

OP is a faggot.
Fulfill your civic duty to help purge this board of anarchistic, sociopathic, intellectually regressive youtube/reddit/twitter immigrant subhumans like him who are under the delusion that all of 4chan (instead of just the designated shitposting playpens like /b/, /trash/, /bant/, etc.) is a toilet by reporting this thread en masse.
Here's a link so you don't have to scroll up to the top of the page.

They're tiny and fun to draw.

Exactly, tiny creatures are fun, they can use matchbox as a bed, raccoon as a ride, etc. So it's mice or bugs.
