You, /co/, zoomers, gen-alphas are responsible for cartoons not being made and the few cartoons being made being nothing but garbage.
Because the actual good cartoons get ignored. So why bother investing in animation if nobody is going to watch it? Same with /tv/. Two entire generations of dumb kids watch Youtube & TikToks now and refuse to cartoons.

The few good cartoons made post-2015 and you use fucking Green Eggs and Ham as an example? Anon just because it looks like Disney doesn't mean it looks appealing. This here is the real calarts style that John K warned us about, not beanmouth, but shoddy attempts at replicating classic Disneys style, including lame ass on-model Disney acting that you've already seen a billion times before, I don't support John K as a person but I find a majority of his opinions very valid. Think about it, old Dr. Seuss stuff like the Chuck Jones Grinch had far more zany acting and Looney Tunes-like movements that I find infinitely more appealing than Disneyfied Dr. Seuss shit. We need more high-effort 2D animation like The Day the Earth Blew Up or Fixed that don't try to look like Disney and take influence from the classics, but oh well, they'd rather watch beanshit than actual good stuff and executives would rather poorly advertise that stuff and let it bomb.

I don't understand why people say that Seuss would've loved Green Eggs and Ham, it's writing isn't even Seussian, it's just story-driven shit rather than silly, absurd, or appealing like the real Seuss would write his stuff. Oh well, I guess it's closer to Dr. Seuss than those shitty Illumination films.
