Steel

Steel

However, TT03 Cyborg is my favorite but not standard sadly

This is why the Young Justice generation failed.
Never got a genius tech black guy.
JSA: Mr Terrific
JLA: Steel
Titans: Cyborg

Steel is the most noble and heroic. He got into this business because he saw a need and he stepped up.

Cyborg is ok but overused
Steel is based
Mr Terrific Is a little on the bland side but he has a really cool jacket

Cyborg was in young justice but they wasted him and had him say booyah once to cater to TT03fags and they also had Static.

People forget but Vergil is the smart one too

Mister Terrific
Pre-Flashpoint Cyborg always felt like he was leeching off his dad's work and the STAR Labs crew instead of being an inventor in his own right. Post flashpoint he's a motherbox with legs. Literally the worst origin of the continuity reset, and the only one that stuck around through Rebirth and Death Metal.
All the dumb changes they forced on Cyborg would have actually made sense for Steel. Remove his direct ties to Superman. Give White Rabbit ties to Intergang which lead Irons to a motherbox. Take that "White Zone" stuff from his 90s run and tie that to the motherbox too. Superman can give Steel his name during Darkseid War.

No shade to Cyborg or Terrific either, Cyborg is my favorite Titan and Terrific is a fantastic legacy. Steel is just so fucking cool, man.

I actually like that about him and I wish they'd lean into that more. A tech hero who's not a genius himself, but who has a team, like how an F1 racer isn't his own pit crew. I like the football jock thrust into a dangerous world he barely understands, I like that with Firestorm too.

Mr Terrific was only cool in the Superman movie
Steel was cool in the comics

The main problem with Cyborg is that since he is a fucking cyborg, he is the one character that is safe to show being ripped apart or having his legs torn off to show how big and scary the villain is. So we have lots and lots of examples of Cyborg getting his ass kicked because the writer wanted to prove a point. It makes him look kinda pathetic after a while.

It's the same problem Vision has, he is okay to display having his arms ripped off by the big bad villain, to show off how big and had he is so after a few decades of it the character looks useless.

But the thing is, he was a genius. Wolfman was one of the more "realistic" writers in that he didn't write the ayn rand style self-made man. All the intelligent people in his books, Cyborg, Robin, Bumblebee, etc., nobody was doing it alone.

I'm talking about as a Justice League member in the long term for the future movies, Steel always felt more like just a Superman supporting character rather than a dude with his own identity since he literally began life as a Superman replacement.

Mr. Terrific, from my JSA days.
I wanted to like Steel, but his ongoing never sold me on him. It's just damn hard to do "damn good engineer with a hammer... also he can fight Superman-level shit."
Cyborg I like as a Titan, and I've enjoyed him off-and-on since Perez, but my GOD they've wanked him in an effort to make him a character with the sort of power levels you saw in the Morisson-era-JLA.
"Very good athlete, and he's got these funky flying balls" is just honestly more fun.

By no means am I trying to pretend that I'm special or quirky for this answer, but I like Batwing more than either of the 3. If I had to choose strictly from this 3, I would go with Cyborg, as long as we agree on TT03 Cyborg being the golden standard. If we are strictly going for ccomics, then it's Steel.

I know it's Marvel but I recommend people too give a read to Ultimate Black Panther, (the new ultimate universe one) if you guys still read Marvel.

Kind of unrelated but on the other hand the world needs more "multiversal space 4Dchess against cthulhu is too easy" type of black characters, who aren't intimidating because of strength but because of intellect/charisma. Plus point if the have human supremacist tendencies.

comicwise - Terrific, Steel, Cyborg
Terrific was solid in JSA and great in Terrifics, Steel is sold but never quite as good since his introcuction and solo. Cyborg is... there, decent solo but just there.
All other media - Cyborg, Terrific, Steel
