>King receiving no story or writing credits.
Unless there's a really ROUGH cut of the film that has actual credits on it, which is almost unheard of for rough cuts and only happens for test screenings - and even those are not considered final credits - it would be 99.9999% nigh improbable that you know King will not receive a 'story credit' - to the contrary, Gunn has publicly stated otherwise, originally at NYCC in 2024
>Gunn spoke to how the film will be based on Tom Kingβs comic Woman of Tomorrow ...
>but it would retain the major characters and themes from [the] comic

Also, in his incessant x-shitter responses/comments/shit posting, Gunn's repeatedly praised King as an 'architect' and 'leader' in the 'DCU writer's room'
Noguiera has experiencing doing theater plays, teleplays and screenplays. King doesn't. It's not unusual for a studio to hire someone who doesn't actually 'write an original' script so much as be a typewriter as far as format, structure, off-screen cues, etc. Of course, there's also a lot of work that went into what would work in live action, versus a comic book, and what wouldn't break the bank, pointlessly.
Gunn already has addressed the fact that the comic maxi series run is being chopped down for time and streamlined to be a more concise story, even more so since they are keeping Krem, Rutheye and using Krypto, as they were all in the comic, but also shoe-horning in Lobo into that story.
tl;dr it's still based on King's shitty, lazy True Grit adaptation and will suck major ass as only King shit can
