Is this still popular? It was big in the mid 2010s.

It was dumb, there were never really any stakes. Tons of homo lesbian rainbow shit it was very off-putting. The only saving grace was putting the women in heterosexual pornographic situations with men.

They told me the nostalgia cycle would exonerate this show but it's been over 10 years and people still think it's modern and still complain about it.

It's really not a bad cartoon and I'm sick of being told I should think so.

I feel the show was at its best from the second half of Season 1 to somewhere around the end of Season 4.

First half of Season 1 you could tell they were totally sure what they wanted to do with the show at that point, and it feel totally out there. Most of Season 5 feels super rushed to try to end the show as fast as possible, then Steven Universe: Future has the same problem but on steroids, it is even more rushed and a bunch of the plot-points it introduces go nowhere.

I hope that Lars of the Stars doesn't repeat the mistake.
