I think a bigger loser thing to do is to take obviously good/protagonist aligned characters and used rantsona logic to make them out to be negative or evil (ie abused younger sibling character is now just an "ugly stalker").

Yeah, the cartoon/movie is pretty clear she's "cute underneath" and I thought the design did a good job of portraying it.

I didn't hate them, but I kinda tuned out when they were talking, wondering when we'd get back to the babies. It was interesting to come back to Rugrats as an adult and find myself more invested in the parents' problems than I'd ever been.
